Day 4 — Nobody Talks About This Part

Everybody talks about surviving a stroke.

But what about living afterward?

The hospital sends you home. Therapy eventually ends. And everybody else goes back to their normal lives.

Except you.

You're still trying to figure out how to get dressed, how to walk without falling, how to do the things you used to do.

And some days, you're just plain tired of fighting to do ordinary things.
